Marissa Weiss, founder of The Teamwork Shop

I’m the founder of The Teamwork Shop, where I help scientists, researchers, and other technical experts ask better questions when working together.

I am trained as a scientist; that's where I honed the skill of asking questions when I don't know the answer. I also worked in journalism, where I learned to keep asking even when I thought I knew the answers. And decades of leading and working with teams have shown me how much can improve when we get curious and ask questions before deciding what to do.

That’s why I built The Teamwork Shop: to bring more curiosity to the nuanced work of working with other humans.
